There is a motorcycle cop on Dillard Street that will pull you over for speeding along Dillard Street between Hwy 50 and Plant St. He’s there quite often.

Heading in both directions on CR535, the posted speed limit is 45 MPH… Until recently, where small 35 MPH signs have Just been posted within approx 500 feet of the 429 ramps. Police are pulling people over who are use to the normal 45 MPH through traffic limit. Beware! Must slow down to 35 MPH near the 429 ramps…

Stoneybrook West Parkway near State Route 535

City police and Highway Patrol will set up on Stoneybrook West Parkway heading East just East of SR535/Winter Garden Vineland Road. Generally they are motorcycle officers and they will just wave you into the parking lot of the unbuilt community they are radaring from to give you the ticket.

Trap is between CR 535 and CR 545 (Avalon Rd). Winter Garden PD hide everywhere on this road. It is a divided road with and is only partilly developed. On the undeveloped east end of the road the speed limit is 45 MPH. On the west end, by the neighborhoods of Stonybrook West and Stone Creek, and the new elementary school, the speedlimit is 35 MPH (20 in school zones during school hours). Watch out – especially during AM and PM rush hours. They hide on both sides of the road and in both the 45 MPH and 35 MPH areas.

When driving west into Clermont, Orange County Sheriffs sit on the left (south) side of the road at Williams Road. The location is in the valley of 2 hills, shortly before the Lake County line. This spot allows them to see drivers coming over both hills, and they can catch speeders very easily.
