Blue Springs Rd between Cobb Parkway and old 41

Mr Policeman will be waiting at the bottom of the hill just past the church.
Posted speed limit is 35MPH. Easy to get over the posted limit and NOT see Mr Tax Collector if you are traveling from Cobb Pkwy to Old 41 heading toward North Cobb High School. He usually has his patrol car oriented toward the High School allowing him easy access to nail the "over 35MPH crowd" as they make their way past the blind curve.

Baker Road South of Baker Elementary

Baker road is a 3 lane road (center turn lane the entire length) with a 35MPH limit. The officer will sit in a unused road at the bottom of a hill. The hill has a 6.88 degree grade which is just under the legal limits but can easily move your vehicle up over the "catch" speed.

Highway 92 From Wade Green Road to I-75

Acworth, GeorgiaJan 19, 20101 Comments

They recently expanded 92 into a 4 lane in this stretch and the Cherokee County Sheriff has been setting up 2 spots, at night. They are there about once a week and on holidays.

One is by the appliance/granite counters place, before Woodstock Road when you are going West, and the other is anywhere between the cement/timber processing site all the way to the county line, which ends at the I-75 overpass.

Always on radar, cruisers typically facing you, mostly looking at westbound traffic, but with you likely being the only car on the road, that’s moot.

Kenbrook Cir NW & Brookstone Walk

They perch in several spots between Due West and Burnt Hickory on County line Rd. They will sit in the Methodist church parking lot on the Due West end, in the Links Sub-division turn-in lane, as well as on the side of the road on the Burnt Hickory end….VERY FREQUENTLY.

State Highway 41 near Cobb Parkway

Acworth Police sit at the entrance of Lowes on HWY 41 using laser clocking traffic heading North down the hill from the old Wal-Mart. I have noticed this several occasions during the afternoon rush hour and some weekends
