North Point Parkway near Regal Cinema

Alpharetta, GeorgiaDec 29, 20070 Comments

Traveling north on North Point Parkway motorcycle and patrol car radar enforcement. The officers typically park and shoot radar in the exit/entrance to the movie theatre during the morning into the early afternoon hours of the day. In addition there are cameras at both Northpoint Parkway/Mansell Road and North Point Parkway/Haynes Bridge intersections. Good Luck!

Rucker Road near US Highway Hwy 9

Alpharetta, GeorgiaOct 07, 20070 Comments

Rucker Rd, between Highway 9 and Wills Rd- fronts on Wills Park. This is a 4 lane road and major cross thoroughfare with a posted 35 mph speed limit. Several times a month, they set up a "pullover party" with two or more cars hiding behind a tree on top of a short hill. Since many of the cars are out of county, easy pickings. They are also starting to enforce the stop for pedestrians at the crosswalk near the park. Recently they did a test "sting" that made the news, putting "fake" pedestrians at the crossings and issuing warnings-tickets will follow.

Kimball Bridge Road

Alpharetta, GeorgiaSep 12, 20070 Comments

The speed limit was recently reduced to 35MPH and traffic enforcement is quite aggressive. It is common to see police cars parked along right after bends and at the top of hills, making it difficult to slow down in time.

State Bridge Road near State Highway GA 141 to Jones Bridge

Alpharetta, GeorgiaSep 11, 20070 Comments

Anywhere and anytime between Medlock Bridge Rd (Hwy 141) and Jones Bridge Rd traveling on State Bridge Rd. Speed enforcement is heavy often with multiple police cruisers. I am not sure what they have their radar set on, I came up on one the other day doing 57 in a 45 and they didn’t pull me, sure thought they were going to though. I think I just caught a lucky break!
