Mansell Street near Old Alabama Connector

Police are brutal with radar on Mansell Road (East Side of Hwy. 400) between North Point Pkwy and where Mansell Road dead ends into Haynes Bridge Road. They will get you going both ways. They patrol this road almost every night triggering cars going either direction. Worst spot is where Mansell Road passes in front of the Waffle House which is about 1/4 mile west of Old Alabama Connector. I have been pulled over and I notice other cars being pulled over at least twice a week.

State Bridge Road near Morton Road

Alpharetta, GeorgiaAug 27, 20070 Comments

Speed on State Bridge Road is heavily enforced, particularly between West Morton Road and Medlock Bridge Road. Since the widening of State Bridge Road the Fulton County police have been quite aggressive for both eastbound and westbound traffic. The posted limit is 45, and people have a tendency to exceed that considerably when going down the hill toward East Morton Road. The black police cars are hard to identify so use caution on this street.

Alpharetta Police conduct very heavy laser speed enforcement on GA400 at all times of the day and night. The speed limit is low in this area. Fines are very high. Police use black patrol cars which are hard to see and many of the car have no light bar on the roof.

State Highway 400 near Exit Number 8

Alpharetta, GeorgiaMay 21, 20070 Comments

A police car usually sits just inside the Southbound entrance ramp at Mansell and GA 400. The officer is always out of the car and signaling cars to pull over that try to bypass traffic by making an illegal right onto the entrance ramp.
