Cumming Street near Hendersonville Parkway
The trap is in a school zone. ( Manning Oaks Elementry)Officers typically position themselves just out front of the school enterance as well as at the west end of the school zone limits. The speed limit is 35mph during normal hours and 25mph during school hours. Please drive safely in this area.
Rucker Road
Motorcycle police park off the road bewhind the bushes just past Wills Park and gun cars heading eastbound. The speed limit changes from 45 to 35 and the police sneak out from behind the trees and hit you with the laser, they then walk in front of your car to stop you. I know of 4 co-workers that have been caught in this spot. 45 is a reasonable speed here and the police should not take advange of this brief change that is poorly marked. Alpharetta Police do not follow "to serve and protect" it is more like "to squeeze and harrass".
North Point Parkway near Old Milton Parkway
In the shopping center to the right just before the Old Milton intersection going North on North Point Parkway.
Mayfield Road near Providence Road
After fork on Mayfield and Providence. Cops will stand in middle of road and get your speed around the turn…..the speed limit drops from 45 to 35 and sign is not visible, covered by tree.
