Avondale Estates

Crossing Memorial Drive from Stone Mountain enters into a five-lane road where the posted speed is 45 then about 1 traffic light down turns into 35 and then the road funnels into a two-lane road. The two-way road is dubious as to where the 25 mph limit starts, since i have never seen it. It is on the opposite direction that one can see the 25 mph sign!

Anywhere in the city limits.

Avondale Estates has a 25MPH school zone limit on Covington Hwy. While other cities have flashing lights and a 35MPH school zone, Avondale Estates has a very discreet sign indicating 25 MPH at certain times. Covington Hwy. is 5 lane and 45 would be an appropriate speed limit. The sole purpose of this artificially low speed limit is for revenue generation. The police are actually tax collectors impersonating police officers. The city residents get a decal to put on their bumpers and get different treatment.
