Just as you enter the the city limits northbound the speed limit drops from 55 MPH to 35 MPH, all just as you are cresting a hill. Police are frequently just over the hill, waiting.

Tthe city of calhoun has to have more officers per population than any city in U.S. Be very careful near downtown as state road slows to 25 (hard to do). 53 spur at city limits is also bad. Very good source of income for our city.

right off the interstate within a about three blocks you hit calhoun city limits and the speed on a four lane with a center turn lane goes to 45. anything above 45 results in a ticket. the other side is 55 but calhoun is known for setting speed traps

Between Courthouse and K-Mart Shopping center. Usually sitting in parking lots. Passed 4, on the way back, all 4 had stopped someone in 5 minutes.
