Cherokee, Georgia Speed Traps
Radar cars parked on road shoulders inparking lots, and (at night) in center median and turning lanes. Sometimes a hidden radar car and multiple "catch cars" are included.
When going north bound they sit at the exit ramp waiting for speeders to pass by. Too many trees to see him and he’s up at the onramp looking down.
Look for cops under bridges and along hwy from exits 11-20 Woodstock thru Canton. Major known speed trap to locals. After being jammed up in I-75 ttraffic people tend to open it up on this stretch and they get nabbed.
From Bells Ferry Road, when you turn left onto Kellogg Creek Road, as you near the bottom of the hill there will be two motorcycle cops in the entrance of a subdivision on the right. Good location for them. Nice hill that’s very easy to speed down if you’re not riding the brakes all the way from the time you turn onto Kellogg Creek. The speed limit is 35 so ride ’em hard. Cherokee pulls them over one after another and even two at a time.
