Fairoaks Road

Decatur, GeorgiaOct 12, 20101 Comments

fairoaks has always been a 35 but 4 months ago it was changed to a 25 for no reason. Cops now sit at the bottom of the first hill after turning off Lavista. They literally at least 95% of the cars driving on Fairoaks. Three cops waiting in a side street and they dont even get in the car to chase you, they walk out into the road and wave you into the side road and give you overly expensive tickets. In the 5 minutes i sat while the officer was writing the ticket, 5 out of 6 cars that drove by were pulled over.

Police car usually sitting under the I-285 bridge with radar can pick up westbound speeders about 3/4 mile away after they pass from the 65 mph zone into the 55 mph zone just before crossing over the Brockett/Coolidge overpass.
