Donalsonville, Georgia Speed Traps

Between Donalsonville and the Chattahoochee River is a stretch of rural highway. The police and highway patrol watch westbound traffic here trying to catch folks headed for Florida. This is especially true on weekends and holidays. This is a speed trap because the speed limit is 55mph. Throughout Georgia there are many roads like this where the speed limit is 65 mph and it is very easy to miss the sign that shows the posted speed limit as you leave town.
