Duluth, Georgia Speed Traps
Gwinnett County
In reading your postings on the fine City of Duluth maybe this will update a little….. All the posting I read are still true, With the following adtions: 3 Dodge Durangos, 1 Dodge Ram P/U 2 or 3 vans all Black. one Durango is Plain black, (no markings). I have see Duluth cars outside City running Radar. Favorite trick on P.I.B. is to stand in medium with portable Laser while 2 Harleys or Cars sit down a side street, So if you see some standing by road, BEWARE.
Sugarloaf Parkway
GwinnettCounty Police occasionally sit of Sugarloaf Parkway at the bottom of the hill between Meadow Church Road and Old Peachtree Road. This occurs mainly on evenings Friday-Sunday.
Any street
Duluth is well known for it’s police. It is still safe to go at least 10m.p.h. over the limit in any given area. You should take extra caution on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. NB before Rogers Bridge Road( The speed limit goes form 55 to 35 in less than 1000Fort There is about 100ft of 45.) at around 2:00 p.m. on weekdays, this is the time high school gets out. The police stand on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. clocking cars in the Northbound lanes. It is very hard to see from a long distance because they are generally on motercycles. They genrally step out onto the road and point you to the side.
Peachtree Industrial, Pleasant Hill, all other main roads
The description currently shown is dated 1999, but the description and addition of motorcycles and cars used on downhill locations still goes on. Also do not run a light on yellow. They are all over watching and weaving in/out of traffic to try to avoid being noticed.
