Traveling South on 441, one or two State patrols – sometimes a deputy, 5.7 miles from Highway 129. Will be hidden. Radar detector will not detect them until it is too late. Easily seen traveling North.

Putnam Co. and City of Eatonton officers frequent this four lane road, and can be seen at various locations and at various times of the day or night. Watch your speed: they mean business, and have issued hundreds of tickets in the last decade.

Putman County – U.S. Highway 129 South
Coming over small hill, [heading south] before road goes to 4 lane, cop was on left
somewhat hidden by an old bldg.
State Highway 441 near Bypass – Hwy. 16/Monticello Rd.
Usually 2 patrol cars are sitting on both North and Southside of Hwy. 441 (sometimes in a hidden area or off road) as you come into the Eatonton Bypass at Hwy16, around Ingles market.
