Eton, Georgia Speed Traps

The city of Eton Georgia Police Department has a enforcement area on Highway 411 south. After you come out of Tennessee (Bradley County) and go a couple miles south into Georgia you will come into the city of Eton. The speed limit on Hwy 411 ranges from 55mph to 45mph but drops hardly any warning to 35mph inside at the Eton city limit line. At 11mph or more over they have you caught, and the police department is right inside the city – so they run laser right out of their police dept. parking lot. Beware of Eton PD it is a small town, but the police does work.
