They speed limit changes from 35 to 45 b4 you go down the hill.People have a bad habit of overaccelerating and getting carried away.The cops sit in the parking lot of the GA D.O.T. building.Their location is right in the middle of the hill so you don’t have time to stop accelerating before they’ve got you with the radar…….

Police officers are on this road all the time. They usually sit facing Hwy 42.

Locust Grove police regularly sit in the parking lot of the Methodist Church. The Speed limit is only 35mph and it should probably be faster.

Officers back into dark, unlit corners, or under overhanging tree limbs to generate their cash cow in this small town. Be advised, there are no warning tickets, only fines.
