Marshallville, Georgia Speed Traps
Hwy 127 West going into Marshallville from Perry
Just pass the city limit sign for Marshallville (heading West on Hwy 127/Main Street) the speed limit drops quickly. They like to sit on the right side of the road, under or near a tree. It is hard to spot their car at times because the shade of the tree covers the police lights. Sometimes you think it is just someone pulled over before you get to them and realize it is a police car. Not only that, the police SUV is dark blue and you can’t tell right away it is a police vehicle vs some random person in a dark SUV.
west main coming into marshallville from montuzuma
A vacant house 409 west main. They sit in the front yard of the house and shoot radar. When you come around the curve and up the hill they have you.
State Route 49 near State Highway South Bound at the City Limits
As you approach Marshallville southbound on Georgia 49, the city limits come up quickly and the speed limit drops from 55 to 50 to 30 in a relatively short distance. The city police always hide their car in all the trucks at the grain elevator and seed plant on the right side of the road. You cannot see them until its to late. If you are 10 mph over you will get pulled over. I have seen many many people stopped here.
