McRae, Georgia Speed Traps

Telfair County Sheriff’s Office use the typical predatory strategy of policing sections of this four lane highway where an artificially low speed limit allows their otherwise bored deputies with writing speeding tickets. There is virtually no homes or businesses where you will find these deputies working at all hours of the day and night with writing tickets. I’m seeking alternative routes to avoid going through this God forsaken strip of rural Georgia.

Going north just before entering town speed limit 55, down to 45. There is a small hill and they sit just over the other side. Its to late when you see them. I go this every month.
