Portal, Georgia Speed Traps

Look out while heading thru Portal. The speed limit drops from 45 to 25 for a school zone. The school zone sign is behind a pine tree and hard to see. I guess it is better to put the kids at risk and make some money. This is a know trap if you get a ticket get a lawyer, get the ticket transfered to State Court in Statesboro. The state court judge may throw the ticket out because he knows it is a trap.

Unit sits behind or near the school on Hwy 80. The enforcement is the worst during the times that school is beginning and ending.
