The police officer also sits in the Post Office parking lot positioned behind a sign, targeting traffic east bound on Highway 46. This same officer is also on the Rocky Ford police department and employs the same questionable tactics used there.

The policeman has on old police car and catches the east bound traffic while sitting just beyond the post office and catches west bound traffic while sitting at a millwork shop. The worst part of being ticketed there is the outrageous fines which are completely out of line with other cities.

The cop has a used (old) police car; he makes his living with a radar gun and gets a percentage of the ticket for his wage. He sits with his radar gun at the little building just next to the Post Office (hidden by trees; or he sits just East of Register (about a quarter of a mile) at the cabinet shop, in their employee parking lot intermingled with their vehicles.
