Reynolds, Georgia Speed Traps
Hwy 96 east and Zack Posey Road
First off there is no signs to indicate a reduced speed zone in this area. The speed limit drops from 65 to 50 without warning, by the time you see the 50 mph sign its too late. The cop sits in front (100-150 yards) of the 50 mph sign so he is technically clocking you in the 65 mph zone and calling it a 50 mph zone. The 50 mph zone starts at the sign not in front of it. Watch out.
Median over hill
Reynolds, Georgia has hidden cars on side roads and medians over hills.
Fickling Mill, Intersect of hy 137 and hy 208 by dumpster
They hide by dumpster and wait for you to not stop at intersection. Then check you for seat belt.
Hwy 96, Fall Line Freeway
Pay attention to the speed limit it drops fast, from 65 mph all the way down to 30 mph through this little one horse town. I drive regularly through Reynolds, and they are always hunting for revenue. While you can expect to see them anywhere along the short stretch, they appear to really like getting drivers who don’t slow down on the outskirts of town. Obviously to catch drivers before they realize they’re coming into a town.
