Police park off the road on either end of the bridge and as vehicles come around the curve they get radared. As much as 5 mph over the 45 mph speed limit can land you a ticket!

On Fridays especially, a Rome city patrol car or motorcycle hides in the church parking lot waiting for people to come down the steep hill violating the unreasonably low speed limit.

Motorcycle Cop gets right in the middle of the road under a tree and radars the traffic both directions. Usually the same cop with a nasty attitude! He loves passin’ out those tickets!
