Roswell PD will sit in the Kroger parking lot. As you come down the hill East bound from Cobb County, they are in a position to tag you with radar or laser as you cross the county line. Additionally, after you top the next hill, they are often sitting in the neighborhood exit on the right. the posted speed limit is 45, but common speeds are closer to 65.

Speed limis is 35mph on a wide semi-rural area. City police hide at bottom of hill, off road in the shade, to catch you as you go down the hill. Speed limits in immediate area are 40 – 45 mph.

If you are traveling down Houze Road the trap is about 1/2 mile before you reach Houze Way. My office is on the road and I see about 5 to 10 cars pulled over on a daily basis.

Hardscrabble Road near Etris Crossing

Officer sits on the side of the road LONG after Sweet Apple Elementary releases it’s students and the children are GONE. He stands at the corner and scans the line of traffic. This officer pulled me out of a line (flow of traffic) and waved me over. The speed limit is 40 mph, there is no immediate sign, NO children, buses, crossing guard, etc. NOTHING. He then ticketed me for 45 in a 25. This trap is beyond ridiculous considering school released 45 minutes prior and neither before the time of my stop nor during the stop was there ever a single child in sight, nor did a vehicle even exit Etris road (from the school) during this time period.
