Heading Westbound they like to sit right across the bridge (after Publix shopping center, before Highland) and get you coming down the hill. The have monthy trap in this location usually with 2-3 officers. Speed limit is 45 but easily to break due to 4 lanes.

4 lane, wide Boulevard near Interstate 75 & 285 intersection

Smyrna, GeorgiaApr 06, 20080 Comments

As you head down Cumberland Blvd towards the Cumberland Mall, you will cruise down a steep hill that will easily take your speed close to 50mph unless you ride your brakes. The roads are wide and clear, so there doesn’t seem to be a lot of reason to do so, despite the easily missed 35 mph speed limit sign. Cops wait in the turning lane at the top of the hill just as you clear the trees blocking your view of the mall. They step into the road and wave you down, 6, 7 cars at a time. They seem to usually wait there around the end of the month – not sure if that’s true, but seems to be based on the time of month.

State Route Windy Hill Road near Reed Street

Smyrna, GeorgiaMar 17, 20080 Comments

Cop sits behind trees on Reed street and waits for Westbound traffic which is coming around a blind corner and going downhill. Cop is completely invisible at night, violating GA statutes, but difficult to pursue a case as he only has to say he was "visible". Speed limit is 45MPH and multi-lane divided highway is safe up to 70MPH meaning easy to receive very large fines.
