Concord Road near South Cobb Drive

Smyrna, GeorgiaFeb 26, 20080 Comments

Police sit near the intersection of Concord and South Cobb drive. They are on Concord and direction of traffic is westbound heading away from covered bridge and twards Atlanta Rd. Most of the time they are parked in the Dunkin Doughnuts (how ironic) parking lot and use remote guns while standing on the curb of the road. Normally there every day. Also run DUI road blocks in same area at night.

Circle 75 Parkway near Windy Hill Road

Smyrna, GeorgiaDec 07, 20070 Comments

Be very careful driving north on Circle 75 Parkway between Windy Ridge and Windy Hill Rd. These Cobb County cops sit back under the trees at the bottom of a big hill in front of the Days Inn/Country Inn Suites in packs of 3-5 motorcycles and write tickets all day long. There is one speed limit sign at the very top of the hill that states 35mph but it is covered by tree limbs. They know that most people do not ride their brakes all the way down the hill and love to give tickets here. Sometimes we sit across the street and the white office building and enjoy lunch while watching them pull over car after car. We have seen them give over 17 tickets in one hour!

East-West Connector Parkway near Highlands Ridge Road

Smyrna, GeorgiaNov 23, 20070 Comments

Traveling west bound from Publix you descend a long natural down grade. Speed limit is posted 45, but gravity will easily take you to 55 if you do not brake. Police will be waiting with radar as the road ascends toward traffic light at Highlands Ridge Road using the road’s curve to help mask their presence.

Windy Hill Road near Atlanta Road

Smyrna, GeorgiaOct 05, 20070 Comments

At night time the cops would hide their cars in the Golf course , I saw them there at 1 am to 5am . Periodicaly, 4 or 5 of them will stay there early morning and start stoping any one for any reason.
