Tucker, Georgia Speed Traps
North Royal Atlanta Road
During week days, this cretin motor cop sits up radar during lunch breaks for people who work in this industrial part of town. From noon to 1 o’clock this lump steadily hunts in this "baited field". Promptly at a few minutes past one, he packs up and heads elsewhere.
Chamblee-Tucker Rd from LaVista to Norcross-Tucker Rd.
Speed limit is 40. I go this way to/from work every day. There are two school zones and most people obey the speed limit and school zones. Sometimes idiots decide to go 45-55 on this 4 lane road. The police sit on the side streets, in the driveways of homes, and in the school parking lots. I’ve seen people pulled over usually during rush hour at the end of the month for going 45 and up.
State Highway Highway 78 west – Stone Mountain Freeway near Exit Number 3
Highway 78 westbound approaching 285. Past the Brockett Road exit (exit 3). People drive like idiots approaching the 285 entrance. The speed limit is 55 but most people do at least 70 and cut in at the last second to gain a few feet. Watch out. DeKalb’s finest WILL get you eventually!
Lavista road, between Brockett and I-285
Motorcycle cop with radar gun, pulled me over for doing 60 in a 45. Flow of traffic is usually at least 55 MPH, and it seems ludicrous to be pulled over for less than 65.
