Boise, Idaho Speed Traps
Ustick Road near Curtis Road
As you turn from Chinden Blvd. onto Curtis Road then turn right onto Ustick Rd. there is a hill where you tend to accelerate. Curtis Rd. is 35 mph, Ustick Rd. suddenly is 30 mph. Not only was I stopped [he said I was going 43] but another police car almost immediately pulled up behind him.. $75 ticket!
On Federal Way, between Amity & Bergeson, just before light.
Hiding by the condos or the apartments between Amity and the traffic light at Bergeson there is often a bike cop sitting there waiting because the speed limit decreases just before that location. People are always getting caught there.
Apparently I was going to fast and the cop followed me into the Home Depot parking lot and wrote me a citation there after I was out of my vehicle and walking towards the store!!!
Parkcenter Boulevard
Cop often times sits in an empty parking lot right before you cross the Parkcenter Bridge going into downtown. I probably see him at least 3 times a week, most noticably in the mornings around 7 and 8. It’s very easy to miss seeing the car- but it’s there.
I84 Expressway
Construction zone on I84 starting at the Gowen Road Exit and going to Vista Exit it is a construction zone and the speed limit goes from 75(normal) to 55mph and is part downhill. i have seen cops there almost every day with someone pulled over
Coffey Street
Be careful right around Coffey and Marigold; this area is often patrolled.
