Highway 16, Jackass Gulch Rd. and Old Freeze Out Rd.
Sheriff sits in the dark and waits with radar on. Both directions. Sheriff also sits off the road at Highway 16 and Sand Hollow Rd. And then again at Highway 16 approx. 3/4 of a mile South of Highway 16 and Old Freeze Out. Usually in the dark. but sometimes in daylight.

Gem County Sheriff sits on Canal lane in a blind spot that you will not see until it is too late radaring people exceeding the 35 MPH speed limit which drops drastically from 50 just south of here.
North bound on Highway 16 at the top of Freezeout Hill
About 1 mile south of the top of Freezout Hill there is a speed reduction sign from 65 MPH to 55 mph. The sheriff likes to sit on the west side of the highway and if you are significantly over the 55 mph they get you. Also look out at the bottom of the hill-they like to sit there and monitor your speed coming down off the hill.

Recently changed to 40 mph. Emmett police sit at the church parking lot with radar
South Johns Street between Main Street and the highway.
This street is the one that most of the police and Sheriff’s Deputies use to leave and re-enter the town. The 25 mph speed limit may not be unreasonable, but everyone will be stopped and ticketed at 30!!
