The cops will sit under the shade of the large tree pointed away from E. Main Street in front of the Post Office and radar cars coming down E. 2nd Street behind Jack in the Box. It is usually a motorcycle cop that is sitting there. It’s hard to see him unless you are specifically looking for the cop but by the time you can see him it’s too late. Go the 25 mph on the streets in that vacinity.

Eagle Road

Meridian, IdahoMay 30, 20031 Comments

This warning also includes Boise and Eagle. Eagle Road is a high traffic arterial route that connects I-84 with State Highways 44 and 55. This is not so much a warning about speed, as the speed limit is a reasonable 50-55mph, so there should be no need to speed, but a warning about other mistakes you might make while driving, such as following too closely and improper lane changing. There are several residential areas, as well as other major roads, such as Chinden Boulevard, Franklin and Overland Roads, and Fairview Avenue, so there are plenty of places for the police to appear out of nowhere. The vast majority of cops you’ll see on Eagle Road are Ada County Sheriff Patrol Cars.
