Speed drops from 35mph-25mph, police will sit in parking lots or side streets almost out of view.

Amity west of Happy Valley.

Westbound, the speed limit drops to 35 mph from 50 just before Happy Valley. Proceeding westbound, at Impressions Ct, there is a "For Lease" sign that blocks the view of either motorcycle, or cop car. By the time you see them, you are radared. The police sit there, out of view, and write lots of tickets, as it is easy to start going back up in speed, after traveling for several miles at 50mph.

The cops hide behind the car wash or in the vacant field behind a fence the speed limit is 35mph which is way too slow for 5-lane road.

Robinson Rd (aka Star Rd) between E Frankin Rd and Airport R

This is a 35 MPH zone in a semi-rural area on either side of I-84, with a 40 MPH zone to the north and a 45 MPH zone to the south. From 06/2009 to 06/2010, 27 speeding tickets were written in the areas to the north and south combined. Within the 35 zone, 400 speeding ticket were issued in the same time frame, of which 399 were for 10+ over the posted limit. These statistics were provided by the Canyon County Sheriffs Office. I would call this speed limit inappropriate.

Lake Shore Drive (westbound) and Lynnwood

Heading west on Lake Shore Drive, cops like to sit on the southeast corner, usually catching people going west. Speed limit is 45mph, most go 55mph
