Newport Boulevard near East Harbor Terrace
Officer sits in ball field parking lot on West side of Newport. From the South you will not see him until its too late. They are not there until after dark, also their squad will be completely blacked out.
E. North Avenue near N. Prospect Avenue
Officer sits on Prospect just North of North Avenue facing Southbound. He is checking speed for East and Westbound North Avenue. He can also check your speed as you crossover the train tracks from the South.
Stearns Road near State Route 59
A Bartlett police car sits in the church parking lot that is on the north side of Stearns Road just west of the Home Depot. The main target appears to be cars traveling westbound on Stearns where the speed limit is 35 mph and shortly thereafter increases to 45 mph. It is easy to drive in excess of 35 mph given that the area is primarily forest preserves and farmland on either side of the road.
State Route 59 near Army Trail Road
Northbound on Rt 59 between Smith Rd and Army Trail Rd,north of Route 64 (North Ave) they hide on the East side of the road (Smith Rd) or down at the bottom of the hill at the driveway to the Cell tower. DuPage County Sheriff is the one that sits there
State Route 20 Lake St. near State Route 59
If you are heading west here is a small street on the north side of Rt.20 that leads to a frontage road just east of the entrance ramp for Rt. 59. The marked squad car will sit somewhat in the dark with all his lights off trying to catch someone headed westbound on Rt. 20 (Lake St.)
