Berwyn, Illinois Speed Traps

Between Morton West High School and the Cermak Plaza there is a Car Wash on the East side of Harlem Ave. if you turn into the entrance for "All Other Traffic" to go around the car wash, cops sometimes hide out in the enclaves in back of the Plaza. where they nail you before you can react. The limit is 20 I believe and most people do 30+. There is also a white brick building with a dumpster in the middle of the parking lot about halfway in that cops sometimes hide alongside of. The police aren’t here often, but with so many recesses, it’s good to keep an eye out. This holds true if you are coming into the lot from the East entrance at Home Avenue.

Also, near the Home Ave. entrance, the road curves and goes up a hill, so watch out for pedestrians too. Especially during school hours.

I got busted once for driving at 28 mph. Come on! the light was yellow and I was close to the street, I was trying to cross the street before the light turned red!
