Bloomingdale, Illinois Speed Traps

Bloomingdale Police sit in Springfield Park parking lot between Lake Street and Shick Road with Radar. Also sit in Erickson School parking lot. Do not speed in the School Zone for sure.

Bloomingdale Police sit in the Mall on Lake Street between Glen Ellyn Road and Bloomingdale Road looking for DUI’s. Will stop you for anything, just to take a look at you and determine if they have a DUI.

This trap is constant and always on. I don’t think Bloomingdale ever turns their radar off. The speed limit is 35mph on a 4 lane with turn lanes. This is the biggest trap for people who are unaware of what they are getting into.

Police car will time you moving towards you from the opposite direction. The amount over the limit seemed excessive. Said I was doing 55 in a 40. Hard to argue, but got a pass because had a load of groceries on a Saturday morning.

The car will sit just out of sight when coming from Circle Rd down Broker (hidden by trees) but the majority of cars are caught coming down the hill going west on Broker Rd
