Blue Mound, Illinois Speed Traps

Blue Mound Town Police sit in the Casey’s General Store parking lot, parked against the back of a grain shed so they are not visable when approaching from the northbound direction. They may be visable approaching southbound. Police cars are Dark Blue, unmarked except for lightbars, and blend in well at night. 30 MPH speed limit is stricly enforced especially on Friday and Saturday Nights, usually starting about 9pm.
