Saugatuck Road between Douglas Road and Boulder Hill Pass
A densely populated residential area, with many cars parked on the street. Usually Kendall County Sheriff has marked white (sometimes dark colored) Impala squad cars parked on either of the roadsides, blending with parked cars.
Occasionally, Village of Oswego’s Crown Vic Holsteins will also assist in a sting operation, where an apparently elderly woman cruises down Saugatuck Road quite a bit under the 30 MPH speed limit, inducing impatient drivers to speed up and pass the old lady; then they get ticketed. I’ve seen this "sting" being performed on at least three or four different occasions. That’s rotten…
