Burlington, Illinois Speed Traps

Dekalb County Deputy Sheriffs sits on North side of Road just after a right curve to the east across from a farm house, very hard to see him at night but I have seen them there at all different hours of the day.

Traveling westbound on Plank Road as you are coming into town, the speed limit drops from 55 to 35 mph in a very short distance. Understandable that the speed limit should drop as the residential area begins, but not enough time to get legal. Cops know this and the area is heavily patrolled.
