Burnt Prairie, Illinois Speed Traps

Didn’t see it mentioned on this site, however it has been mentioned on other sites. ISP sits either on the side of the road eastbound, watches eastbound traffic from the paved turnaround spot, and, as I saw on 5/15/05, there is an overpass where on squad car sits, and about two to three squad cars wait around the bend. This is all before the Burnt Prarie exit.

State police sit in hidden turn around. They are there almost everyday, at different times of the day. Don’t get ‘burnt" in Burnt Prairie
