Police like to hide behind the stone subdivision sign just past the Hampton Inn, and again 1/2 mile further east in the u-shaped cutout driveway. The police like the subdivision sign on weekdays during the afternoon rush hour, and the u-shaped cutout on weekends. During the summer, police have been known to sit in a lawn chair with a radar gun and radio on the center median berm while up to 5 pursuit cars are in the cutout pull over speeders

There is a dip in the road in North Ave. and Carol Stream cops wait on both sides because the cannot be seen, so when you emerge from the dip, they nail you.
