State Route 38 near Town Road

On Route 38, once you’re past Fabyan Pkwy, be careful of cops looking west towards oncoming eastbound traffic. The location is about 1/4 mile west of the railroad tracks between Joliet Rd and Town Rd. Have not seen them scanning westbound traffic before.

Milwaukee Avenue near Devon Avenue

Chicago, IllinoisApr 17, 20070 Comments

I was SB on Milwaukee, a block or so north of Devon when a city cop tried to get me with his laser gun. My detector went off, at first I didn’t even see him. He was on the east side of the street in the entrance to the forest preserve. Speed goes from 35 to 30 there, so it may be good pickings for them in that spot.

US Highway 64 near Sunny Acres

Eastbound on North Ave (Hwy 64) on the south side of the road an officer sits in a hydraulic hose repair facility (across from Sunny Acres) and radars you. He in turn radios ahead w/description of offender to office sitting in his car ahead. Too late to react at all. 45 mph zone-easy to go 60+.
