Oldfield Road between Lemont Road and Frontage Road off I55
This entire street, yet a very short stretch is obviously a trap. The speed limit goes down to 25 mph. It’s a wide open stretch, but the speed limit is that of a residential limit. When you begin to smell bacon, you’ll know you’re there.
Oldfield Road near Meyers Woods
Police sit in the parking lot of Meyers Woods waiting to catch speeders. The speed limit is only 25 so watch out!
Manning Road near Fairview Avenue
This is located on Manning Road, just east of Fairview and west of Plainfield Road in the Elizabeth Ide school parking lot. The police sit here quite frequently and radar if you’re traveling east on Manning approaching Fairview, because you can’t see them as you come down the hill – until it’s too late. It’s a 25 mph zone, so watch out!
67th Street near Cass Avenue
Between Cass Avenue and Rt.83, 67th street is a long straight road with a 25 MPH speed limit. Local police sit in the school bus parking lot about 1/4 mile east of Cass Ave.
