Des Plaines, Illinois Speed Traps

Going East right after the railroad bridge right outside downtown Desplaines. There is a squad car stationed behind some trees in a small Metra parking lot. He can also get you if you’re not paying attention going west leaving Desplaines downtown.

Wolf RD. Going from circle, to back on Wolf RD. Columbia @ Wolff, usually a cop there. It’s 35, and by 35 they really mean like 33 I believe.

Motorcycle cops very aggressive in this area. The speed fluctuates from 35mph to 45 mph up and down River. These coppers are very aggressive. Guaranteed a ticket if caught.

The cop usually sits on the side of the golf just west of Des Plaines River rd, behind the lights to Oakton College. There is lots of trees there and besides coming westbound you have no chances cause you’re coming out from the slight turn so you cant see him untill it’s already too late.Other spot is bit further just under the train bridge there is small space on the shoulder. No chances to avoid cop from both directions, this place is between two curves so either comming wes or east be alert.The limit is 45 but you can easily do 60 and your trapped.I’ve seen there Des Plaines cop in a purple camaro with marks on the side but when you’re approaching him head-to-head you cant tell, than he just makes a U-turn and you have a ticket. In other spot i’ve seen a motorcycle cop several times.

There is a stop sign at this corner. Locals e to blow this sign off, and when they do they will have Des Plaines pd’s finest on your butt. Most of the time I see a Short hipanic cop with a crew cut there.
