State Route 38 near State Route 83
Route 38 (Roosevelt Road) underneath the overpass at Route 83 (Kingery Road) going east or west.
State Route 83 near State Route 64
North And Southbound Traffic between Route 64 and Route 38 (Roosevelt Road) especially on Sunday A.M. No mercy.
Roosevelt Road near State Route 83
Heading westbound on Roosevelt road (after you get off 290), you will approach the kingery hwy (route 83) and on any of those 4 leaf clover hwy entrances, cops will sit and take radar and you won’t see them until you are right next to them. If you travel in DuPage county alot, you will know they dont give any leeway so be cautious out there.
York Road near Industrial Drive
Quite often at the intersection of York and Industrial, I see an unmarked cop Camaro. I don’t see him shooting radar there, and I am not sure what jurisdiction this car is. Just a warning.
Old Grand Avenue near Grand Avenue
On Old Grand Road, which is a frontage road between 83 (near the 290 ramp) and Grand Avenue, there is sometimes a DuPage County Sheriff shooting radar. This might be considered a ‘residential zone’ but is very low car and human traffic road with a speed limit of 30. There are many long driveways for the cops to hide in, and many hedges and bushes to obscure them from your sight. Radar detector highly recommended.
