Cruiser usually parks in the north corner of the west side parking area of the country club, facing south, right where Lake Cook turns south into Sheridan Rd. Traps cars going both north and south on Sheridan Rd. Speed limit there is 30 MPH, but they won’t stop you if you’re doing less than 40 MPH.

The speed trap is operative most often during heavier traffic hours such as school drop off and pick up and the evening rush.

Dundee Road near Vernon Avenue

The Glencoe police now have cameras at this intersection and send the owner of the vehicle a ticket if it runs the stop sign. My friend received one for rolling thru the stop sign! Yoiu would think they could find better use for the money they invested for those cameras. When I called the police department about the cameras I was told that they have them at several intersections. Watch out!
