Fullerton Avenue near Bloomingdale Road

Glendale Heights, IllinoisJun 14, 20070 Comments

Marked squads can often be found parked back in the parking lot of Camera Park on Fullerton just east of President. Additionaly, they will sit in the parking lot of American Elementary School just a 12 block west of Camera Park. So when driving on Fullerton between Bloomingdale and Schmale, watch your speed. They are there at least 3-4 times per week.

Windy Point Drive

Glendale Heights, IllinoisSep 22, 20060 Comments

Windy Point is a wide street giving easy truck access to a mostly industrial area. The posted limit is 25, but it is hard not to do more unless you are familiar with how much the police like this street. I take it early morning and afternoon rush hours (around 6am and 3pm) and frequently see squad cars in one of the many industrial driveways. Early 2006 saw them mostly east, closer to the intersection of Polo Club. In later 2006, they also hide further west, behind the built up landscaping of the larger industrial sites. Enforcement seems to happen at week-long stretches every month or two. They seem to tolerate up to almost 35.

Fullerton Avenue near Village Building Complex / Sports Hub

Glendale Heights, IllinoisMay 31, 20050 Comments

Officer sits in the parking lot of the Village Sports Hub primarily monitoring westbound traffic. Because of the lilac bushes, they are pretty well hidden until it’s too late.
