Gridley, Illinois Speed Traps

Officer sits in the parking lot of the Roanoke Cement Plant. Well outside of the main part of town, the speed limit drops from 55 to 40. Radar is taken at the sign, so one must slow down and be at 40 mph before passing the sign. Cops are contracted from neighboring Chenoa and very unfriendly.
