Highland Park, Illinois Speed Traps

A patrol car parks at the beginning of the ramp from lake cook road onto 41 northbound; esp. in the evening hours. its hard to see them sometimes as the ramp is at a higher elevation, and lake cook road passes overhead. By the time you know the cars there, its too late

The Illinois State Police park at the now closed Highland House and monitor the approaching northbound Rt. 41 traffic.
On the west side of the road (for southbound enforcement), they park as if they are parked at a business toward Old Elm and radio ahead to marked vehicles near Rt. 22

Right next to Highway 41 a cop always hides in the Fink Park, Parking lot. He is their all day at random times. Laso be carefull becasue if your comming from the opposit side of the bridge by cvs the speed limit changes and vice versa so watch your speed.

Park Avenue is 25 mph between Ridge and Route 41, and cop usually sits just west of Railroad tracks and gets people going either direction.

Right around the post office on Central there is almost always a cop around 8pm. One of my friends got nailed last week for going 37mph.
