Hooppole, Illinois Speed Traps

It is hard to slow down to 55 after being on I-80, running 65 to 72 mph. So on Rt.78 there is a speed trap just north of town,either at the old restaraunt or the ghostly gas station.(torn down now). Rock Island Co. boys sit there quite often. I think I was going 55 in a 45mph. speed zone,almost made it out of town… Mayberry comes to mind…(Barney)
