In the early morning around 6:00AM, cop sits just to the south of the new Knowles Electronics bldg on Maplewood Dr waiting for speeders to come around the curve from the North. You can’t see him until your around the curve, and you’ll be zapped way before you notice him. A lot of people start early at Knowles, and the cops know it. Easy pickins I guess. The speed limit there is 25. Not a nice way to start the day. They also buzz the lots checking tags on the 1st of the month-nice bunch.

One block South of Irving Park Road on Addison Road across from the elementary school there is a stop light. A cop sits in the drive way of a residential home and is there almost every morning.

Just South of Devon, either at the bank parking lot where Arlington Heights Rd. veers to the right or over the hill near the public works dept., just North of the train tracks, they occasionally sit and click. The speed drops from 40 to 35 mph quickly.
