North Bound 53 just south of Thorndale
IL State troopers wait at the "Turn-a-round" just south of Thorndale. An unmarked squad gets you and then radios your car make and model to the other "Marked" squads waiting to pull you over… I was going 7 over the posted speed of 55 MPH and was not pulled over.

Nordic Road, just west of the intersection of Nordic and Route 53
Cops tend to hide in the driveway of the old cemetary. You can’t see the squad car from the intersection. Mostly seen in the PM Rush Hour. Sometimes in the morning. I assume they are using radar, really don’t know.
