Lake Villa, Illinois Speed Traps

They sit just west of Deep Lake Road in the baseball park lot. Im not sure if they are running radar or just doing paper work. Its also near a school zone.

Car sits in the Fire Station just west of Deep Lake Rd. Usually they can be seen from the light but a hill will prevent you from seeing them sooner.

They usually sit in the fire station just west of RT83 just past the train tracks. You will not see them untill you come over the tracks if you are heading west. They also like to sit in the paking lots across the street in the office complex/body shop parking lots.

I have seem them sit in that empty gravel lot across the re-modeled bar on deep lake rd. People speed on this rd all the time. be sure you are going 40. its usually sitting after the crooked lake subdivision going towards grass lake rd.

If you are heading to WalMart from North Deep Lake Road just south of Route 173, (about a mile passed Oakland School) you better watch your speed. A cop car sits hidden behind some trees and you don’t see it until you’ve passed him. The speed limit there is 40 mph not 45 mph and they are pulling anyone going over 40 so be careful.
