Old Rand Road near Across from KITS Sports Complex Near Tennis Courts
The police car parks on the West side of Old Rand Road just across from the KITS Sports Complex near the tennis court in front of the subdivision. Waiting to catch people who are going over the 30 MPH speed limit. This trap has been there for years. Also watch out for rolling through the nearby fourway stop on Old Rand Road. They watch that area too. I see people pulled over nearly every day.
State Route 12 Rand Rd. near Miller Road
Sits in the Wlgreens parking lot every morning taking pictures of NB Rte. 12 and EB Miller at the intersection. Lake County police unit.
State Route 22 near Old Rand Road
On Rt. 22, between Old Rand Rd. and Ela, they’ve built a nice wide divided road. It feels like an interstate, but they’ve tacked a ridiculously low 30mph speed limit to it. Police sit in the center and time cars coming from the opposite way.
Old Mill Grove Road near Millbrook Street
Not necessarily a speed trap, but enforcing a 3-way stop. They like to sit on Millbrook and wait to pull those drivers over who do a rolling stop through the intersection.
South Old Rand Road near US Highway 12
Just pass intersection of Rt.12 on Old Rand Road, looking north. In parking lots that are east & west on Old Rand road.
