Lakewood, Illinois Speed Traps

Lakewood is a small village with just a few major arteries to monitor, and the police usually travel with their radar guns on. Especially watch speed along Huntley Road, both moving radar and stationary radar especcially after speed limit drops from 35 to 30 mph. Also moving radar along Dole and there is a driveway that is just west of the lake where they like to sit and catch traffic coming around a blind curve. Lakewood is now using marked and unmarked Dodge Intrepids, so be alert!
